Acne has been the annoying disease that people are facing for years and years. The acne starts in the adolescence period, and even at times lasts till the adulthood, for a huge number of people, worldwide. The secretion of an oily fluid, called ‘sebum’ in our hormones, causes these frustrating acnes. However highly protected we may be, our superficial skin has to come across all these ill conditions.
There is a constant work going on internally in our skin, for proper functioning. After all this exposure gets over, at the end of the day, the skin collects all the dead cells and places them in the upper surface, generally referred to as the coenocytes. Our skin behaves like a soldier, fighting against all the risky conditions like pollution, heat, sunlight, rain and so on. Therefore, this is the in bound process of cell removal and for new cell production.
Various underlying supporting structures, help for this process. Those are the oil glands, blood vessels, sweat glands and the nerve endings. These provide instructions for the skin, to keep going on and on. Therefore each and every day, the oxygen content is in taken, and the wastes are eliminated with the help of follicles and sweat glands. If there is some miss happening in this routine, due to hormonal changes caused by the over production of sebum, it eventually leads to blocks.
When these blocks, generally called as the plugged pores appear, the dead cell elimination gradually stops. Hence, they get accumulated in the upper surface of the skin, which causes acnes. At normal situation, this cycle can go proper and regular, with all most nil problems.
Nevertheless, as it becomes abnormal, the dead cell deposition in the skin occurs and thus increases, which welcomes the bacteria to thrive in and which leads to the subsequent process, called the inflammation of the body. This is called the inflammatory state in the human body, which is a result of sebum out breaks that happens inside. So before we could consult a doctor, our body responds for this internal reaction.
The human system o its own generates certain signals and makes a call to the protein content and some special tissues and cells, to cure this injury. This process is known as, the inflammatory response. Inflammation is the primary defense attack that is being performed by the body against the infections and injuries.
Inflammation has its very own disadvantages, it can be considered as a ‘double edged sword’, which means it can become a hazard to the belonging system it self. Yes, when it goes out of control by exhibiting unlimited actions, it can damage the body’s own healthy cells and tissues. It is the important duty, for the immune system to maintain a balance between the production of healthy tissues and the killing of bacteria.
Our body is naturally gifted, with the defense action, along with chemically bound weapons and other specialized components, to sense and kill the bacteria, thereby completing successful inflammation.
